I worked on this project during my internship as a UI designer at Electronic Soul Games. My contribution includes design tasks distribution, game logo (English + Chinese), marketing banners & posters, and 2D graphics.
Electronic Soul Games
The game features an aesthetically pleasing art style characterized by its cuteness, and the production team aims to align the game logo with the overall theme by designing it in a cartoonish style.
Due to recent changes in accordance with Chinese policies, the game has undergone a name change, and the manager expressed dissatisfaction with the previous logo design, prompting the need for a new version. Considering that the English version will be released first, I was tasked with creating an English logo as a starting point, which would then serve as the basis for designing the Chinese version.
As per the provided instructions, the logo was intended to be typography-based, eliminating the necessity for a purely graphical logo. In order to develop the new logo, I thoroughly examined the existing 3D assets and game scenes, envisioning a typeface that would exude a sense of softness, roundness, and boldness. Initially, I began by sketching out various concepts that came to mind, and subsequently researched fonts that closely aligned with my envisioned style.
Utilizing Adobe Illustrator, I meticulously refined each letterform, ensuring it closely resembled the initial draft. Several options were explored and presented to the manager for review and selection, which involved multiple rounds of iterations. Ultimately, the final result received unanimous approval from all development teams involved in the project.
I incorporated multiple game elements, including elf ears, a star, a sword, and a paw, within the logo design to enhance its clarity and convey the essence of the game.

Additionally, I undertook the task of creating 2D assets specifically designed to embellish the game scenes, serving as decorative elements within the 3D environment. My objective was to develop assets that seamlessly integrated into the meticulously crafted 3D scenes by the artists, enhancing the visual richness of the rendered environments and introducing additional intricacies and details. I used Adobe Illustrator to create these assets
